The Logic of Yoo, published as a chapbook by Beloit Poetry Journal, is a linked poetry experiment about a plagiarist asked to write a paper for a Harvard student on John C. Yoo, the lawyer responsible for the Bush Administration "torture memos." It has been turned into a multimedia, multi-voiced staged reading, which has been performed at University of Maine-Farmington, Boston's Playwright's Theatre during AWP 014, at the Joiner Center for War and Social Consequences at UMASS Boston, and at Split This Rock in Washington DC. Listen to an audio of Michael discussing the project's genesis here at From the Fishouse.
